Give chocolate chip cookies a little shake-up with Nutella hazelnut spread in these delicious Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies. They're the perfect sweet treat for the Nutella lover.
I love, love, love me some Nutella. I mean, what's not to love about a creamy mix of hazelnut and chocolate?
And I'm apparently not the only one who adores the stuff. When I mentioned Nutella to a friend of mine recently, her response was classic. She excitedly exclaimed, "Oh, I love Nutella! I could bathe in it!"
These soft and chewy cookies may just be my favorite way to enjoy Nutella's creamy deliciousness.
While I certainly don't want to bathe in Nutella, I sure do want to enjoy it in some of my favorite treats. -- Like Nutella-Strawberry Cheesecake Bites, Nutella Puppy Chow, Nutella No-Bake Cookies, and Nutella French Toast.
And these Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies? -- For the Nutella lover, they do not disappoint. They are yummy indeed, with the flavor of Nutella coming through nicely in every bite.
These soft and chewy cookies may just be my favorite way to enjoy Nutella's creamy deliciousness.
Making a batch of Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies is just as simple as making a batch of regular chocolate chip cookies. Just mix up a simple chocolate chip cookie dough, including a hearty dose of Nutella in the batter.
Then scoop the dough by approximately one tablespoon amounts onto baking sheets.
I use a cookie scoop for super easy dough scooping.
Then press a few additional chocolate chips into the top of each cookie dough ball before baking.
This step is completely optional, but gives a pretty look to the baked cookies by having chocolate chips perched right on top. It also adds in just a little bit more chocolate to each cookie, which is always a good thing.
Pop the cookies in the oven to bake up, and you're good to go! For a nice tender soft texture, bake for about 10 to 11 minutes until the edges are set and the centers are still soft. Do not over bake -- if anything, err on the side of under baking to keep them soft.
Now while I don't recommend bathing in Nutella, I do highly recommend making these Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies. If you're a Nutella lover like me, I think you'll be glad you did.

These are what mine SHOULD have turned out like!! I made my nutella chocolate chip cookies last night but burnt them. Grr!!! I was really looking forward to them. Yours turned out great though. Did you flatten the dough once you placed it on the baking sheet, or just leave it as a glob?
