It's always fun to look back through the year's posts and see which ones have taken the top spots as your favorites ... and especially which recipe takes top-billing as the #1 most-viewed of all.

But why 15 top best recipes, you ask?

Isn't it usually a top 10 list at the end of the year?

Yes, it is ... but it's always way too hard for me to stop at 10.  Some of your favorites are really close in numbers, so I decided to just go ahead and include a few bonus posts, as well.  A little extra deliciousness is always a good thing.

Thank you so much for being a reader of The Kitchen is My Playground.  I am humbled and blessed to have you all here.  I'm looking forward to keeping the tried-and-true family-tested recipes coming in the new year.

The apple cousin of #15's peach version.  Their warm crescent roll crust, tender fresh apple filling, and cinnamon-sugar goodness baked on top make these a perfect fall comfort food dessert.  And apparently you all agreed!

10.  Chocolate Cherry Upside-Down Cake
My Mom used to make this cake all the time when I was growing up.  With its tasty rich flavor and how easy it is to make, I sure still love it today just as much as I did as a kid.  I'm glad to see our readers like it, too!
