#warmtraditions
And I love it.
I love that the holiday season ... straight through from Halloween to New Years ... is rich with family traditions. And of course, I love that many of these traditions involve special foods and recipes.
So when Pillsbury® challenged me to put a spin on one of my old and cherished Fall holiday traditions with Pillsbury Crescents®, how could I resist?
Probably needless to say, I couldn't.
One of my family's Fall favorite traditions is creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake. Several years before I got married, a friend of mine introduced me to her totally fabulous Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe ... and my entire family has been hooked every since. It truly was food-love at first bite ... and this particular Pumpkin Cheesecake has become an institution for our family. To be enjoyed each-and-every Fall once Halloween-time rolls around.
But ... not before. And not after.
That's right. Creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake makes its appearance for us from Halloween to Thanksgiving ... then gets tucked away for the rest of the year. And we eagerly await the time each year when we can whip out and dust off the recipe for this favorite.
So it only made sense that I combine our long-standing cherished Pumpkin Cheesecake tradition with Pillsbury Crescents® to re-engineer our family favorite into a quick-and-delicious treat ~ Pumpkin Cheesecake Crescents.
Combining the fabulous flavors and creaminess of our favorite cheesecake with the ease and deliciousness of Crescents®, Pumpkin Cheesecake Crescents are perfect for a Fall/Halloween-time/Thanksgiving-time quick dessert or snack.
An added bonus to their great taste? A platter full of Pumpkin Cheesecake Crescents comes together in no time flat.
Simply start with a package of Pillsbury Crescents® ... which I bought at Walmart.
That's it!
With just those few simple steps, you and your family will be enjoying a warm-and-delicious batch of Pumpkin Cheesecake Crescents.
Now, if you want to add an extra-special touch to the Pumpkin Cheesecake Crescents, drizzle on some melted white chocolate. It's totally not necessary, but does add just a little extra pizazz to the pumpkin cheesecake deliciousness.
So I hope you enjoy this new spin on my family's old and cherished Fall holiday tradition, inspired by Pillsbury Crescents®.
My only encouragement about this new tradition is ... unlike our beloved Pumpkin Cheesecake ... that you don't tuck away Pumpkin Cheesecake Crescents after the Fall holiday season. Enjoy platters of them all year long!
