It's time to dig into The Kitchen is My Playground's archives to share the best of one of our favorite types of food -- party food! 

Those tasty little party bites are sure hard to resist. And especially with that "big game" coming up, we've got lots of reason to whip up some delicious nibbles for party-time snacking. But the recipes in this collection aren't just perfect for game day, they're fabulous choices for any party.

These jalapeno poppers are the perfect party-time snack for jalapeno lovers. Since they're baked not fried, you get all the great jalapeno popper taste without the deep-fried mess. Score!

Marinated Cheese may just be our absolute party favorite of all time! Not only does it taste wonderful, it's also beautiful too.

8.  Mixed Olive Tapenade
Until we made this mixed olive tapenade, we didn't realize how easy it is to make your own tapenade at home.  Olives, a handful of other ingredients, and a quick whirl in a food processor is all it takes.  And it tastes wayyyyyy better than the jarred stuff you buy at the store.
