See how to make Strawberry Butter ~ Inspired by the tea room where my bridal luncheon was hosted, it's such an easy and fun way to add a tasty little extra-special touch to breakfast, brunch, or tea time.
Sometimes we just want to add a little extra-special touch to things, right?
Whether it's the glimmer of sprinkles on a frosted cookie or cake, a sweet little monogram on a shirt pocket, or a frilly bow on top of a present. These little touches make things extra fun and special.
And in the case of this Strawberry Butter?
With just three simple ingredients, you can whip up a batch of Strawberry Butter to spread on biscuits, scones, toast, or pancakes.
Not only does this extra-special touch makes things extra fun and special, it makes them super tasty, too.
With just three simple ingredients, you can whip up a batch of Strawberry Butter to spread on biscuits, scones, toast, or pancakes and bring that special touch to breakfast, brunch, or tea time.
Or enjoy it the way we love it best ~ slathered on our favorite Poppy Seed Tea Bread or Glazed Poppy Seed Muffins. The strawberry flavor of the butter pairs so beautifully with the almond-laced sweetness of the muffins.
The tea room served each table a basket of mini poppy seed muffins, with strawberry butter alongside. The combination was so fabulous! ... and that little addition of the flavored butter was just the special touch you'd expect from a wonderful little tea room to make a special occasion even that much more special.
That's it! ~ Three simple ingredients, and basically the time and effort it takes to soften butter and give a quick stir.
I decided I needed to replicate the butter at home, and enjoy it with our own favorite muffins.
I'm happy to report, our home version is a success! It tastes every bit as good as the original we enjoyed on that memorable day.
And when it comes to how to make this Strawberry Butter? It truly couldn't be any easier.
Simply place softened butter and strawberry jam in a small bowl, and add some confectioners' sugar ...
Stir until the ingredients are well combined. And that's it! Three simple ingredients, and basically the time and effort it takes to soften butter and give a quick stir.
You can use the prepared butter immediately, or refrigerate for later.
If you want to form the Strawberry Butter into a slice-able log, spoon the mixture onto a small piece of parchment paper and use the parchment and your hands to roll and form the butter into a log shape. Then twist the ends of the parchment {like you'd see on a candy wrapper} and refrigerate until firm.
When you're ready to serve, remove the butter log from the parchment and place it on a small serving plate.
See, it truly couldn't be any easier. Strawberry Butter is such an easy and fun way to add a tasty little extra-special touch to breakfast, brunch, or tea time.
