Creamy Feta Dip satisfies those afternoon hunger pangs with it's hearty combination of crumbled Feta and plain Greek yogurt seasoned with dried dill and loads of fresh lemon.  It's a perfect choice for healthier, more wholesome snacking!

As a full-time blogger and Mom, I ... like so many others ... am always on the go and pressed for time.  It seems like between school schedules, activity schedules, appointments, and general life maintenance, there's just not enough time to go around.

And with a just-turned-7-year-old with an apparent bottomless pit for a stomach?  What little time does seem to be available gets crunched even more as I'm endlessly getting food together for her.

While I do a pretty good job focusing on wholesome snacks for our daughter's bottomless pit tummy, when it comes to me?  Not so much.

Isn't that always the way?

We do the right thing for our children, but then seem to totally neglect ourselves?

Yes, I'm the queen of that.

See, I crave crunch when I snack.  And let's face it, crunchy quick-grab snacks aren't always the healthiest, most wholesome of choices.  With the help of Crunchmaster, though, I can change that.

When it comes to eating a handful of Crunchmaster crackers on the go just plain, I reach for one of the flavored crackers.  Like White Cheddar.  Or Buttermilk Ranch & Dill.  Or Rosemary & Olive Oil.  

But my absolute favorite grab-and-go flavor is Applewood Smoked BBQ.  I'm a total sucker for that sweet, smoky barbecue taste.

When it comes to dipping and dunking my crackers with this Greek yogurt based Creamy Feta Dip, though?  Then I like to go with Crunchmaster Original or Sea Salt the best.

Creamy Feta Dip image

Creamy Feta Dip
(Printable recipe)
  • 6 oz. Feta cheese in block form, crumbled*
  • 1/2 c. plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. finely minced lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
  • pinch black pepper
  1. Using your fingers, crumble feta into small chunks. Place in a bowl. Add Greek yogurt and olive oil; stir to combine.
  2. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Refrigerate for at least an hour to allow flavors to meld. Serve with Crunchmaster crackers and/or veggies for dipping.
* I highly recommend using block-form Feta for this recipe and crumbling it yourself, rather than using pre-crumbled Feta crumbles.  The block-type Feta has more moisture than the crumbles, and creates a creamier dip.  Pre-crumbled will certainly work, though, if you'd prefer.
