I have a confession to make. -- I don't really like apples.  I know what you're thinking ... "How can you not like apples?" Right?  Well, I just don't.  It's a texture thing, I think.

But if those apples are cut into slices and covered in a sweet, creamy dip? Then I can sure handle eating apples. And this easy Creamy Caramel Dip is just the perfect sweet and creamy dip for the job.

Of course, the caramel deliciousness of this dip is also fabulous with pretzels, too. Which means I can just avoid the whole apple texture problem altogether, and enjoy pretzels for dunking instead.

Not only does our family love the caramel flavor of this creamy dip, we always love that it's super easy to make.

Not only does our family love the caramel flavor of this creamy dip, we always love that it's super easy to make. Simply mix together the dip's ingredients with an electric mixer, then chill to allow the flavors to meld. That's it. -- A batch can be whipped up with all of about 10 minutes of hands-on time.

A combination of cream cheese and sour cream serve as the dip's creamy base. And a mix of brown sugar, vanilla extract, and instant vanilla pudding come together to create that fabulous caramel flavor that's just perfect for dipping.

Easy Creamy Caramel Dip Ingredients:

The mix of ingredients used to make this creamy Caramel Dip comes together to create spot-on delicious caramel flavor. To whip up a batch, you'll need:

  • Cream cheese & sour cream - Serve as the creamy base of the dip.

  • Brown sugar - Sweetens the cream cheese and sour cream, and builds the base of the dip's caramel flavor.

  • Vanilla extract - Use 100% pure vanilla extract, instead of imitation, for the best flavor.

  • Instant vanilla pudding mix - Combines with the brown sugar and vanilla to round out the caramel flavor of the dip, as well as adds to the dip's creaminess.

  • Milk - Mixes with the pudding to add to the dip's creamy texture. Both whole and 2% milk work just fine.

  • Fresh lemon juice - Brightens and enhances the dip's flavors. We recommend sticking with fresh lemon juice, instead of bottled, for the best flavor and result.

Top the whole thing off with an optional drizzle of caramel ice cream topping, if you'd like.
