Creamy Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Fruit Dip is just perfect for afternoon snacking.

"You got yogurt in my peanut butter! ... You got peanut butter in my yogurt!" And just like the famous combination of peanut butter and chocolate from Reese's, the pairing really works.
Now, as a little aside, remember that little Reese's commercial bit ...
... from sometime-in-the-1980's where two people crash into one another and accidentally mush together their chocolate and their peanut butter? And they say, "You got chocolate in my peanut butter! ... You got peanut butter on my chocolate!" Come on, remember it?? {please tell me I'm not the only one}
Well ... that commercial is now considered 'vintage.' Vintage! When I did an Internet search for that commercial, this is what came up ... See?? ... vintage.
Since I grew up in the '80s, ... well ... I guess that makes me vintage, too. More than vintage, actually. Since I was born in the '70s. Hmm.
The combination of Greek yogurt and peanut butter may not be vintage, but it is surprisingly good. After making Nutella Greek yogurt dip a few weeks ago, I decided to apply the concept to peanut butter too and give a whirl to Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Fruit Dip. And it worked!
I tried making this with both plain Greek yogurt and with vanilla. Using vanilla Greek yogurt makes all the difference ... both the hubby and I agreed that the vanilla yogurt version was the way to go.
So while this may not be a vintage flavor combination, I think you'll enjoy getting some Greek yogurt in your peanut butter. Hmmmmmm ... I wonder how it would taste to get some chocolate in my Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Fruit Dip??
I may just have to find out.

ReplyDeleteI do not know who you are but the line of you saying "vintage" cause you were born in 70s made me laugh out so loud since I am in the same boat with you..! In addition, I'm rather vintage and as you may guess, I do love vintage stuff all the time..
