Though its fabulous flavor tastes like it should take many more, it takes
just 5 simple ingredients to whip up Kahlua Baked Brie. To bake up a
round, you'll need:
- Round of brie - It's not baked brie without the brie! An 8-ounce round of brie serves as the foundation of this appetizer. An 8-ounce wedge can be used instead, however a round is easier to wrap in puff pastry and makes for a prettier presentation.
- Brown sugar - Brings sweetness to the Kahlua Baked Brie. Use light brown sugar, sprinkling a couple of tablespoons over the round of brie before baking.
- Kahlua - This classic rum & coffee liqueur brings the flavor to this super-tasty baked brie, combining beautifully with the brown sugar and warm melty brie baked below. Just a few tablespoons spooned over the brie before wrapping in pastry is all you need to deliciously deliver up its signature flavor.
- Pecans - A small sprinkling of chopped pecans adds another nice layer of flavor and some textural crunch to the finished baked brie.

How to Make Kahlua Baked Brie:
With just 5 ingredients and the convenience of packaged puff pastry, Kahlua Baked Brie is super quick and easy to make. It takes all of about 10 minutes
hands-on prep time to get it in the oven, and then the oven takes it
from there!
To get started, place a thawed sheet of puff pastry on a baking sheet. Then cut off the top
rind of a round of brie to expose the inside cheese and place it in
the center of the puff pastry sheet.
Top the brie round with a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar, piling
it directly on the exposed rindless portion of cheese.
Drizzle a few tablespoons of Kahlua over the brown sugar, and then
sprinkle on some chopped pecans.
Wrap the puff pastry up over the brie round to completely enclose it
-- trim the puff pastry a little bit, if needed.
Wet your fingertips and lightly moisten the edges of the puff pastry
where they come together, as needed, to get them to adhere.
Then pop the wrapped brie in the oven and bake it for about 20-25 minutes until the puff pastry is a nice golden
brown.
Transfer the baked brie to a serving plate, and serve it up warm with
crackers or baguette slices. Then you're ready to dig into the melty
baked brie deliciousness!

Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) round of brie
- 2 T. brown sugar
- 3 T. Kahlua
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
Instructions
- Place thawed sheet of puff pastry on a baking sheet. Cut top rind off brie to expose the inside cheese. Place in the center of the puff pastry sheet.
