- White cake mix - The foundation of the cake mix cookie dough. White cake mix is mild-flavored, which allows the cookies' white chocolate flavor to shine. To keep white chocolate the focus of the flavor, we do not recommend substituting a different cake mix flavor (such as yellow or butter golden) for white cake mix in these cookies.
- White chocolate instant pudding mix - Flavors the cookies and helps them bake up soft and tender. Be sure to buy instant pudding mix, not cook-and-serve.
- Canola oil - Adds the fat needed for the cookies. You can use vegetable oil instead, if you'd like.

Using white cake mix and white chocolate instant pudding mix for the base of the dough, Christmas White Chocolate Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies are super easy to make.
To start a batch, combine a box of dry cake mix, a package of dry white chocolate instant pudding mix, some oil and two eggs, mixing until their well combined. Then stir in some white chocolate chips.
Stir in a few tablespoons of Christmas red, white, and green sprinkles to create the colorful funfetti effect. You can use any type of sprinkles, however, we find that a mixture of both jimmies and non-pareil type sprinkles gives great color.
When stirring in the sprinkles, you may need to sort of press down with your spatula or spoon a little as you mix in the sprinkles to get them to adhere well into the dough.
Once the dough is mixed, form it into balls just larger than a walnut and place the dough balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. I use a cookie scoop to make this step extra easy and to help keep my cookies similarly-sized.
Pop the pan in the oven and bake the cookies for about 10 minutes until they're set. Allow them to cool on the pan for about a minute, and then remove them to a cooling rack to cool completely.

- 1 (3.3 oz.) package Jell-o White Chocolate instant pudding mix
- 1/2 c. canola oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. white chocolate chips
- 4 T. Christmas red, white, and green sprinkles (a mixture of both jimmies and non-pareil type sprinkles gives great color)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together dry cake mix, dry pudding mix, oil and eggs until combined.
- Stir in white chocolate chips and Christmas sprinkles.
- Form dough into balls just larger than a walnut and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350℉ for 10 minutes, or until set.
