Everyone loves fluff! And this beautiful red, white, and blue version is a super tasty one to add to your fluff line-up.

The fluff's creamy white chocolate pudding base, fresh strawberries, and blueberries combine to create its beautiful red, white, & blue color scheme. But not only is this combination beautiful -- it's delicious, too. Which makes it a perfect treat for the 4th of July.

Admittedly, white chocolate pudding makes this fluff quite sweet. So while there always seems to be a debate about whether fluff salads are a salad or a dessert, we feel Red White & Blue Fluff Salad lands squarely on the dessert side. But hey, if you want to serve it up as side dish, we certainly won't judge!

In addition to it's wonderful flavor, fresh berries, and beautiful color scheme, we also love that Red White & Blue Fluff is no-bake and incredibly easy to make, too. No-bake, just a little chopping and stirring, and all of about 15 minutes hands-on prep time? -- It's truly one very simple little treat to make.

Red White & Blue Fluff Ingredients:

It only takes 6 ingredients to whip up a bowl of this tasty Red White & Blue Fluff. Here's what you'll need for each color-component of the fluff:

  • Red component - Fresh strawberries cut into bite-sized pieces create the fluff's red component. Stick with fresh strawberries, rather than substituting frozen berries, for this recipe. Frozen berries contain too much moisture for the fluff to maintain its fluffy texture.

  • White component - The fluff's creamy white base is made with a combination of white chocolate instant pudding mix, milk, Cool Whip, and mini marshmallows. Regular or sugar-free white chocolate pudding mix both work just fine.

  • Blue component - Fresh blueberries serve as the fluff's blue component. As with the strawberries, stick with fresh blueberries rather than substituting frozen berries for this recipe.

How to Make Red White & Blue Fluff:

Making a batch of this no-bake Red White & Blue Fluff couldn't be easier. Truly, just chop up some fresh strawberries and stir together a few simple ingredients -- and that's all there is to it.

Get a batch started by mixing up the fluff's creamy white base. First, combine white chocolate pudding mix and some milk, whisking them together until they're well combined and starting to thicken. Then stir in a container of Cool Whip and some mini marshmallows.

Finish off the fluff by folding blueberries and chopped strawberries into the pudding mixture.

Cover and chill the fluff for at least 2 hours before serving. -- While it chills, the pudding mixture will firm up a bit and the marshmallows will soften, creating the signature creamy fluff texture we know and love.

Then it's ready to be enjoyed. Super simple, right?

Prep time: 15 MinInactive time: 2 HourTotal time: 2 H & 15 M

Ingredients

  • 1 (3.4 oz.) box white chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 c. cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 16 oz. fresh strawberries
  • 2 c. fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Whisk together white chocolate pudding mix and milk until well combined and starting to thicken.
  2. Gently stir in Cool Whip until well combined. Gently stir in marshmallows.
  3. Cut strawberries into bite-sized pieces. Fold strawberries and blueberries into pudding mixture.
  4. Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
TRACEY'S NOTES:
  1. A 16-ounce container of strawberries equals about 2 & 1/2 cups of chopped berries.
  2. While Red White & Blue Fluff can be made the day before, it's best to make it the day of serving. The strawberries begin to soften and weep as the fluff sits.
  3. We recommend sticking with fresh berries, and not substituting frozen berries, for this recipe. Frozen berries contain too much moisture for the fluff to maintain its fluffy texture.
