It's the most wonderful time of the year, folks.  There's nothing more I love throughout the year than the holiday season.

And as far as I'm concerned, the holiday season starts the day after Halloween.  That's right ... the moment Halloween passes and November 1st hits, I start my Thanksgiving planning.  And then the very moment Thanksgiving passes, I start my Christmas preparation.  It's just one long season of holiday fun for me!

While I do like to give each holiday its own distinct time, our 8-year-old sweet little Miss H. is all up for just blending Thanksgiving and Christmas together.

With its fluffy, creamy texture and wonderful peppermint flavor, it's easy to see why Peppermint Fluff Dip is one of little Miss H.'s Christmas snacking favorites!

This year, I believe the Christmas music intermittently went on at our house about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving.  But hey, if that warms little Miss H.'s heart, then I'm totally okay with it.  Watching the joy of the season through her eyes is precious, and makes my heart smile with joy.  She can blend her holidays together all she wants!

Well, little Miss H.'s love of blending the holidays together is why I'm sharing this quick and easy Peppermint Fluff Dip with you all so early in the Christmas season.  Because it's one of Miss H.'s absolute favorite Christmas snacks ... and truth be told, we've been enjoying bowlfuls of it at our house since well before "turkey day."

It takes all of about 5 minutes to make with just 5 simple ingredients.  Which makes this Peppermint Fluff Dip perfectly easy to make for any type of Christmas party, or for enjoying for holiday snacking like little Miss H. does.

To whip up a batch, simply combine a block of softened cream cheese with a bit of powdered sugar, a small bit of peppermint extract, and some finely crushed candy canes.

Once the candy canes are stirred into the cream cheese, they'll start to dissolve and turn the mixture pink.

There's no need to add additional food coloring to get the dip's pink coloring, but if you'd like the peppermint fluff to be even pinker, a drop or two of red food coloring will do the trick.

Then, stir in some Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping to give the fluff dip its fluffiness.

If you'd prefer, you could use homemade sweetened whipped cream just fine instead, too.

Serve the dip up with a variety of dippers and dig in to the fluffy peppermint deliciousness!

We've used mini Nilla Waferswaffle cone pieces, animal crackers, chocolate graham crackers, chocolate Teddy Grahams, and chocolate wafer cookies for dipping ... and though we haven't tried it, I would think pretzels would work well, too.

Mini Nilla wafers are my favorite Peppermint Fluff Dip dipper.  I like the way the mildly sweet vanilla flavor of the Nilla wafers combines with the dip and lets the dip's peppermint shine through.

But sweet little Miss H. would disagree ...

Her favorite is Chocolate Teddy Grahams!

I'm not sure if they're her favorite for the taste combination they deliver, or for the cuteness factor of the adorable little chocolate-y bears.  But whatever the reason, she grabs up the Teddy Grahams for her peppermint fluff dipping pleasure every  time.

So if you're looking for a super easy peppermint Christmas treat, give this quick and easy Peppermint Fluff Dip a try.

Whether it's for a Christmas party, a holiday luncheon, or a festive family snack, Peppermint Fluff Dip is a fun and tasty treat.

I hope you and yours enjoy it as much as our sweet little Miss H!
