Well, the back-to-school season is in full swing!  And along with it comes some busy busy times.

I, for one, love the routine and structure of school-time much more than the less-scheduled, looser times of summer.  Somehow, when I have more I have to do, I get way more done.  (Please tell me I'm not the only one.)

But to survive the busier times, I definitely need some quick-and-easy lunch (and dinner, for that matter) recipes up my sleeve.  Just like this easy Ham & Cheese French Bread Pizza.

It comes together in about 5 minutes, and bakes in 10 ... making it perfect for lunchtime or anytime.

It comes together in about 5 minutes, and bakes in 10 ... making it perfect for lunchtime or anytime, whether it's for a busy Saturday lunch, or for packing up slices to be enjoyed in the kiddos' lunchboxes.  Because don't we all deserve a super tasty lunch?  And yes, French bread pizza is indeed super tasty even cold.

Loaded with prepared Alfredo sauce, chopped ham, and lots of melty Swiss and mozzarella cheese, this pizza delivers up amazing flavor.  Just ask our 6-year-old daughter ~ she gave it her whole-hearted endorsement of two thumbs up.

Now when it comes to that tasty melty cheese, it's got to be REAL® cheese in my book.

Because REAL® cheese is packed with nutrients you can only get from REAL® dairy products.  Like calcium, vitamin D, potassium, and loads of quality protein.  And that's something dairy imitators just can't say.

And do you want to know my little secret to baking up the ultimate french bread pizza?

For even more great flavor and good stuff, first brush the bread with REAL® butter!

Then I give that butter a little sprinkle of garlic powder, and a toasting in a hot oven for just a few minutes before adding any sauce and toppings.

So basically ... I make garlic bread before making the pizza.  Oh, it brings such great flavor and crispness!

The bread develops a nice crunch on the outside, while staying soft and light on the inside ... just like it should for a great French bread pizza.

And that layer of toasted garlic-and-butter, while bringing wonderful flavor to the bread, also keeps the pizza sauce from seeping into the bread and making it soggy.

When the pizza comes out of the oven, use a sharp serrated knife to cut each bread half into slices.  Then serve it on up for a REAL® delicious and easy Ham & Cheese French Bread Pizza lunch ... either hot for right-then, or cold for later!  Which makes it the perfect back-to-school busy-times lunch.

Or hey, it's the perfect recipe to keep up your sleeve for a back-to-school busy-times dinner, too.  Don't you think?

Try it and see ... its great taste will earn two-thumbs-up from your family, too.
