Ahhhh, spring is upon us and summer is fast approaching. Know what that means? Camping trips! The wonderful sounds of the outdoors ... crackling campfires ... sleeping out under the stars ... BUT WAIT ... {insert screeching halting sound here} ... I HATE camping!
Totally detest it.
Yes, ask any of my friends. And they'll tell you that my idea of camping is a condo at the beach with only one full bathroom and a small kitchenette. That's about as roughing-it as I care to get.
Now, I do love campfires ... I just don't like the CAMPING part it takes to have them.
So what's a s'mores-loving, not-so-outdoorsy girl to do?
Make indoor s'mores, of course!
All you have to do to enjoy yummy indoor s'more gooey-ness is pop a Hershey's Kiss on top of a Ritz cracker, top it with half a big marshmallow, and toss it in the oven for about 5 minutes. Out comes an ooey-gooey, melty indoor s'more!
And the touch of saltiness from the Ritz cracker adds a nice little flavor touch, too. It's a salted s'more ... even better.
Enjoying a s'more doesn't get much easier than that, does it?
Well, unless you have someone else make it for you, of course.

Indoor S'more Puffs
Craving a s'more but don't feel like building a campfire? Never fear! You can enjoy a delicious s'more ANYtime with these quick and easy Indoor S'more Puffs, ready in no-time flat with just three simple ingredients and a warm oven.
prep time: 5 Mcook time: 8 Mtotal time: 13 M
ingredients:
- 12 Ritz crackers
- 12 milk chocolate Hershey's Kisses
- 6 large marshmallows, cut in half
instructions:
How to cook Indoor S'more Puffs
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Place crackers on foil-lined baking sheet. Top each with a Kiss and one marshmallow half, cut side down. Kind of push down on the marshmallow to 'spear' it with the point of the Kiss {this keeps it from slipping off the cracker/Kiss as it melts in the oven}.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes, watching closely, until the marshmallows just begin to melt.
- Remove from oven, place on a wire rack, and allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes.
TRACEY'S NOTES:
- Lining the pan with foil is important ... if a marshmallow oozes onto the baking sheet, trust me ~ it's muuuuuuch easier to just throw away a piece of foil than to scrape melted marshmallow off your baking sheet!
- The Kisses will soften, but not completely melt.
Happy Easter! These all look so great! Haha, after i pledged to eat better and give up the sweets. I just want to lick my computer screen! I hope your having a great day!
