The little bit of Swiss cheese on the b...Hi there! The little bit of Swiss cheese on the bottom of the pie plate gives a great punch of flavor at the bottom of the quiche when it melts in with the smoked sausage. I also wanted to say thanks for not using Bisquick! I use Pioneer baking mix instead, when I need a "baking mix", because I don't like the taste of Bisquick. I think Pioneer has a better flavor.
