It's no secret I love my wine.  When you take a look at the beverages section of my Recipe Index, there's no disputing that. ... a significant number of the beverages I've shared are wine-based.

And the majority of those wine-based beverages? ~ They're sparkling!

Oh, how I love my bubbles.  Which makes it no surprise that I absolutely love bubbly cocktails ... like this Sparkling Cosmopolitan.

I'm not exactly sure how my love for wine and bubbles started.

I think it started back in my mid-twenties when I was working in corporate America.  Quite often, I had to go out for those swanky marathon-take-forever team and client dinners.  At first I loved them.  But truth be told, despite the great food and ever-flowing libations, they do indeed get old after awhile.

But one plus of those marathon business dinners? ~  I sure got to taste more than my fair share of wines!

Alas, a life-long wine love was born.

And do you want to know something I love to do with my favorite wines?

Mix them up with other yummy stuff to make fun wine cocktails to enjoy.
